Kashmir is undoubtedly the most beautiful and naturally gifted state of India. And in the lap of Kashmir, on the rain shadow side of the Himalayas, lies the crown jewel that is Ladakh
Ladakh is the most favorite and a highly coveted holiday destination for almost every Indian. And rightly so, it is a must visit for everyone, at least once, in any season they prefer. There is no particular set time to visit Ladakh as every season brings out its own effect on Ladakh.
Rightfully called the Land of High Passes, Ladakh is home to some of the highest roads in the world (Umling La, Zoji La, and Khardung La, all above 18,000ft), and is gifted with some of the most contrasting landscapes which make Ladakh all the more beautiful and a place worthy of being more than just a destination. Ladakh is a dream and that is why everyone must visit it at least once.
